Metal Gear Online was finally shown off for the first time at The Game Awards this past weekend. You can see the first gameplay footage in the video above.
Metal Gear Online is the multiplayer portion of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and it will link into the main story in a currently unannounced way. Every copy of MGSV will include Metal Gear Online.
Metal Gear Online will feature tactical team operations that see players working together to accomplish specific tasks in a variety of ways, whether that be using stealth or going in guns blazing. There will also be a class system with the likes of Venom Snake and Ocelot being featured somewhere in the multiplayer experience. To find out more you really should check out the video above.
eSports! I joined God is a Geek all the way back in September 2013 and since then have spent most of my time on Dota 2, and occasionally posting the odd review, news article or totally wrong predictions for The International. When I am not playing Dota I can probably be seen watching some kind of strange eSport or begging for more Twitter followers (@MikeStubbsy if you are interested). Aside from GiaG I am a computing student, football coach and major Apple fanboy.
