Halo: the Masterchief Collection Freebies Announced
In a blog post on Xbox Wire, Bonnie Ross has thanked fans for their support during the troubles of Halo: The Masterchief Collection, and announced a few thank you items.
If you played Halo: TMC between November 11 and December 19, you’ll receive:
- 1 Month of Xbox Live Gold
- Exclusive In-Game Nameplate
- Exclusive In-Game Avatar
Not bad right? Well it gets better. Responding to fan feedback, 343 are working on bringing the campaign from Halo 3: ODST to The Masterchief Collection, as well as fan favourite multiplayer map Relic to halo 2 Anniversary Edition. For free. Yeah you read that right.
Whether they’ll be free for all or just for those who played during the above time period isn’t quite clear yet, but in any case you have to admit that it’s a fantastic thank you to fans for their patience.
