Epic Games Begin Fortnite Alpha Testing
Fortnite is the upcoming team-based, fort-building action title from Epic Games, set for release on PC in 2015. The game will see players teaming up in order to build and fortify their fort during the daytime and then prepare to take on waves of bad guys once night falls – all taking place in a procedurally-generate world.
Epic Games Poland (formerly People Can Fly) will be developing Fortnite, and they are already sending out the first batch of invites to fans who want to join in on the Alpha testing phase. Online Test No. 1 will run rom now until December 19, with more invites being sent out throughout this week. With every invite received, that gamer can also invite two friends, spreading the love and getting more people interested in the testing process.
A new video has also launched today, outlining what sort of experience players can expect from Fortnite.
