Despite seeming good value for money, we’ve not heard a huge amount of detail about EA Access going forward. Until now, that is.
Over on their blog (which we saw thanks to VideoGamer), EA have detailed what’s coming next. Coming to “the vault” in the next few weeks (which is where the free games are), subscribers will get Need for Speed Rivals.
Interestingly, they have also detailed the trials for FIFA 15 and NHL 15, as follows:
September will also bring you two awesome opportunities to play new games early. EA Access trials for NHL 15 and FIFA 15 will be going live this month and we want to give you the details on what to expect. All EA Access members will get six hours with each game, and as always, you will be able to play each game five days before the release date.
NHL 15 will be coming to you this Thursday, so get ready to take the ice! Explore all of the modes and features and catch up with player ratings.
You can spend your time in FIFA 15 and NHL 15 however you like. If you decide to buy either of them, your Achievements and progress will carry over, and you’ll save 10% with your membership.
Six hours seems to be the standard, then, as Madden NFL 15 had that same limit. Is six hours enough for a FIFA trial? Debatable, but the fact it’ll be available a week before launch means that most will burn through the six hours in a few days, I’d suspect (I know I will!). What do you think?
