The nintendo eShop update this week will see the release of a handful of new indie titles, the latest release from a couple of blockbuster franchises and a big sale on many popular Capcom games.
Available from tomorrow, KickBeat Special Edition brings the award-winning rhythm game onto Wii U for the first time, featuring songs from a variety of well-known and independent bands, where Kung-Fu meets beat matching action. The title will cost €9.99 / £8.99 in the eShop.
Hyrule Warriors will also be available on the Wii U eShop from Friday – to tie in with its retail release, at a price of €49.99 / £39.99. However, on the eShop there will be a 10% fan discount from 19th until 26th September 2014 for users who previously downloaded a “The Legend of Zelda” title, with the same Nintendo Network ID (although downloads of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition do not qualify).
Ahead of the launch of Hyrule Warriors the eShop is also offering discounts across several The Legend of Zelda games every week between 4th and 26th September 2014. Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will have a full game download available from Friday too, but this time on 3DS, priced at €39.99 / £29.99.
The other big news this week is a sale across many popular Capcom titles, which includes: Resident Evil Revelations on Wii U – at €19.99 / £15.99 down from €49.99 / £39.99, DuckTales: Remastered on Wii U – at €6.74 / £5.39 down from €14.99 / £11.99, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies on 3DS – at €14.99 / £11.99 down from €24.99 / £19.99. Several other titles are also reduced, with some pretty hefty discounts on offer.
