Shovel Knight Sales Stats Released
Yacht Club Games has broken down the sales numbers for Shovel Knight.
The most striking figure is the first month sales, with 180k sold. 37% of this was on Steam, 33% on 3DS and 27% on Wii U. The final 3% is made up of Humble and GoG sales. 75k of these were sold in the first week on sale.
The rest is pretty interesting reading, looking at how the team set their targets, and how amazed they were by the reception to the Kickstarter. It’s too long to sum up, you you can check out the full story here.
