Activision and Sledgehammer Games have released the first trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer, and it looks very speedy.
The trailer focuses, rather smartly, on the new jetpacks. These aren’t simply designed for vertical movement, but for navigational jerks, too, making Advanced Warfare seem like the most reactive design of Call of Duty’s multiplayer yet.
The trailer also gives a hint of unlockables, but the PR fills in the numbers. 350 custom weapons. A new reward system, including more than 1,000 in-game player rewards and nearly limitless customisation options that create more than 2 billion unique player combinations. Yay! Numbers!
There’s new stuff, too, like co-operative scorestreaks, directed energy weapons, and gamemodes called Uplink and Momentum.
In addition to the multiplayer premiere, Activision today announced the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition, which gives you access to the game a whole 24-hours early, on 3rd November. For specifics on that, well, ask your friendly local game retailer.
