Europe is finally ready to receive Atlus’ mega tough JRPG, Shin Megami Tensei IV, in September. It will cost €19.99/£17.99.
As a bit of a caveat the game will only be available as a digital download.
Shin Megami Tensei IV, for those that don’t know, has you running around dungeons, encouraging demons to fight alongside you. Because then you won’t stab them in the face, if that is a face.
This isn’t the first Shin Megami title to grace the 3DS. Soul Hackers, one of the series’ many spin offs, was released on 3DS in EU last year, and the Persona series is well loved elsewhere, with Persona Q set to bring some of that JRPG flair to 3DS very soon, too.
Shin Megami Tensei IV’s shtick is, apparently, that it’s morale mulchingly difficult. Perhaps it’ll be a good one to dip into every now and then, making digital the best choice, then?
Current date for us EU sorts is September, but hopefully we’ll get a proper date soon.
