Konami has today announced Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2015.
The title will launch later this year on PS4, Xbox One and other “additional formats”
PES 2015 will be the first title to use the full Kojima FOX engine. Last years entry supposedly used an embryonic form of the engine whilst PES 2015 will use the whole thing. This new engine combined with the extra power of next gen machines results in a slew of improvements including better looking players and environments.
Pro Evo 2015 will also feature over 1000 players with bespoke animations and will react in realistic ways to events on the pitch. The crowd has also been significantly enhanced and the real time lighting within the stadium makes each member of the crowd look even better.
On the pitch there is also a load of improvements. A brand new shooting system allows for grater control of shots whilst improvements to the keeper AI make it even harder to beat them. Other improvements involve passing and the ball physics as well as close control and beating players.
Other new features include a reworked Master League known as MyClub. The big news here is that players and managers can be purchased for either in game currency, which you can earn, or via micro-transactions which cost real money.
You can expect a lot more info on PES 2015 in the coming months.
