The ultimate handheld first-person shooter is returning to mobiles and tablets this month. Modern Combat 5: Blackout will be coming to App Store and Google Play for £4.99, on July 24. Modern Combat 5 features a unified progression system, meaning that each mission in single player and matches from multiplayer matches will earn players experience that will go towards a single leveling up for their character.
The single player campaign sees you as Phoenix, the protagonist who is in Venice after being sent on a special operation to secure WMDs from a terrorist group. Then experience Tokyo where Phoenix has to fight amidst total anarchy while trying to convince his allies to accept an uncomfortable secret. There are also Spec Ops missions for players to enjoy. They are described as: “cover your allies, clear the room, eliminate the target and much more.” Onto multiplayer, whether with friends or complete strangers, players can complete in 6V6 matches that will test their strategy and endurance. Modern Combat 5: Blackout launches July 24th, for £4.99 on the App Store and Google Play. Check out the new trailer for it, here:
