Another Gameplay Demo From Sony’s Zombie MMO H1Z1
Sony Online Entertainment will soon be launching on Steam Early Access on PC with a preview build of their new Zombie MMO H1Z1. The title will also be coming to PlayStation 4 at a later date, but it is PC gamers who will get to sample the title first. The exact date of the Early Access trial has yet to be announced, but SOE have released another new gameplay demo in anticipation of this event.
Enter a world that has been overrun by zombies and other survivors for years since the H1Z1 virus was first encountered! This is not a hoax! This is the Apocalypse! Fight for your life against those infected and against the brutality of others as you attempt to live and see another day. Every moment is borrowed time with one question to answer… Will You Survive?
The H1Z1 infection that has ravaged the world and left in it’s wake a handful of survivors that live in constant fear- fear for their survival from the elements, each other, and ZOMBIES! Set in a post-apocalyptic world, H1Z1 is a zombie survival MMO where thousands of players must strategically align with friends and against enemies in order to survive death and infection.
Game Designer Jimmy Whisenhunt takes us on a walkthrough of some of the in-game features, showing us how gamers will have to make use of scavenging and crafting items to survive – such as cutting down trees to gather wood in order to create a bow and arrows. Then if you need to drive a vehicle, you will also have to consider finding parts and fixing them up first. And of course we see some in-game combat, along with the 24-hour day and night cycle.
