HAVE YOU SEEN THE CAT MARIO SHOW?

Nintendo have launched a cute puppet show on the 3DS/2DS and Wii U eShops, aimed at teaching younger players facts and tips for recent releases.

I reiterate young children because, well, it’s a fairly child focused show, what with the cute puppets, and the squeaky voices.

Simply put, this isn’t going to teach you or me how to get awesome at Kirby The Fighters (the combos are very basic), but it’s a good introduction those those still considering whether their 2DS is entertainment or food.

It’s not as patronising a show as one might think, though, and one of the Super Mario 3D World ‘facts’ is quite a good easter egg that many players might have missed. It’s just, well, don’t tell anyone you watched it, ok? Ok. For your social status.

Episode 1 of The Cat Mario Show is available to watch right now via a 3DS, 2DS or Wii U by visiting the eShop.
