Companion App for Develop Conference 2014 Released
A companion app for the Develop conference in Brighton has been launched.
Downloadable for iPhones, Android and Blackberry phones, the app features:
Schedule – which you can view as sessions listed by day or by track
Speakers – full list with bios of all our speakers
My Agenda – select your favourite sessions, create a personalised dairy, make notes
Expo – floorplan and exhibitor list
Photo Feed – update your shots of the conference to share with other delegates
Social – keep in touch and join the conversation on Twitter, FB, LinkedIn
Activity Feed – update your status, see what everyone else is up to and share your experience at Develop
Map – a location map to help you find your way around the venue
Networking – contact other delegates, speakers or exhibitors and arrange to meet up
Feedback – no more filling out paper forms after each session. You can tell us what you think via the App
Gamification – actions within the App have points attached to them. You can advance your position on the Leaderboard by accumulating points and there will be prizes for our in-App champions!
Develop is europe’s leading game developer conference, which runs  8th-10th of July. Previous speakers include Mark Cerny, Tim Schafer and Peter Molyneux.

Hi all, I'm Dan 'Nailz' Naylor, News Editor for the site (and I've just realised there's a pleasing alliteration to that). Almost all the news posts you see on the site are either by me or written because I say so, and we try to make them a little more interesting than a regurgitated press release so I hope you think we're succeeding.
Normally I'll be sinking my time into the latest RPG, but I'll play almost anything, with racing games a particular favourite. Owner of a Wii U, I have no regrets purchasing the console, though Smash Bros. hasn't left the disc tray since Christmas.
