Ubisoft CEO; Yves Guillemot has confirmed that the game will be released this year, in a financial statement released to investors. He stated:
“The year’s performance will be led by five games – Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, Just Dance, The Crew and Watch Dogs.”
In Far Cry 4, players find themselves in a wild region of the Himalayas known as Kyrat, struggling under the regime of a despotic self-appointed king. Players will write their own story across an exotic open-world landscape using a vast array of weapons, vehicles, and animals. Far Cry 4 will be released November 18th of this year and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Fans who pre-order Far Cry 4 will receive the Limited Edition, which includes Hurk’s Redemption. This will include a series of three action-packed single-player missions featuring Hurk from Far Cry 3’s DLC, as well as his infamous harpoon gun, known as ‘The Impaler’.
