Abyss Odyssey has a Creepy Main Theme

Atlus and ACE Team have released a behind the scenes video showing the recording of Anyss Odyssey’s main theme.

Abyss Odyssey is a 2D sidescrolling platformer with a large focus on combat.

Acording to the team each enemy creature is ‘as complex’ as the player characters, leading to fierce battles as you try and fight your way to the bottom of the titular Abyss.

Oh and the levels are procedurally generated, making each run a fresh challenge.

The main theme is quite nice. chunky guitars thump underneath spooky strings to give the piece some menacing drive, while ethereal voices give the piece and otherworldly attitude. Check out the video below for some gameplay, alongside the music demonstration.
