Thousands Queue For Titanfall as Free Running Pilots Hit London

by on March 14, 2014

Titanfall finally launched in the UK today and thousands of eager gamers decided to brave the cold weather and collect the game at 00:01 this morning. Hundreds of retailers across the country opened their doors at midnight last night to allow fans to get their hands on the game as early as they could, and it appears that the majority of stores were very busy indeed.

To celebrate the launch of the game EA got some free runners to dress as Pilots and run around London’s South Bank, which lead to some brilliant pictures of confused commuters such as the one seen above.

As you would expect, getting some Pilots to run around London wasn’t enough to celebrate the launch so a massive launch party was held in The Boiler House at the Old Truman Brewery. Pilots performed stunts and wall runs around the building whilst many of the games press and typical launch event celebrities such as Jonathan Ross and Professor Green played the game. There was also a burrito van present at the event, which by all accounts was very good.

Titanfall is available now on Xbox One and PC. You should check out Adam’s review and stay tuned to God is a Geek for more Titanfall content very soon.
