Today SEGA has officially revealed Alien: Isolation, a first person survival horror game that invokes the spirit of the original Alien film (where have we heard that one before!?).
Fortunately The Creative Assembly are on development duties and are aiming for a release in late 2014. Alien: Isolation will be coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 along with the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
We have known about The Creative Assembly working on an Alien game since 2011 but this is the first official news we have heard about the game, despite a number of leaks in recent months.
Along with the announcement came a reveal trailer and developer diary that were first spotted by VG24/7. At first glance the trailer looks quite impressive but lets take it with a pinch of salt considering how great Alien: Colonial Marines looked before release, although I personally have a lot more faith in The Creative Assembly to deliver a great game.
