Xbox One launches today, November 22, but some eager lads and ladies got in line at the multiple stores across the world that had midnight launches, last night.
Leicester Square became Xbox One Square as the green of Microsoft’s next-gen system took over the London landmark. Plan B and Katy B performed on the night and Andros Townsend faced off against members of the general public in FIFA 14.
As well as the celeb-spotting that was going on, Microsoft pulled out all the stops as a horde of Dead Rising 3 zombies roamed the streets, alongside Roman warriors from Ryse: Son of Rome. Even Top Gear’s The Stig showed up in a McClaren supercar in the name of Forza 5.
Buyers were able to purchase their brand new Xbox Ones at a pop-up GAME store at London’s Trocadero, too. You can currently purchase the system across the UK for £429.99.
So…that’s one down, over here. Next up is PlayStation 4.
