Yesterday, rumours of this year’s Tomb Raider reboot on next-gen systems came about thanks to an Amazon Italia listing for Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. It is no longer up on the online retailer’s site, but the game was priced at €59.99 and was said to be coming to PS4 on January 24.
DualShockers originally reported on this and after the Internet was all aflutter over the possibilities of this-gen titles appearing on the next one, they received official word from Square Enix on the as-of-yet unannounced game:
“It’s so hard to keep a secret these days! We appreciate all of the enthusiasm, however we don’t have any details to share just yet. That said, we highly recommend you keep an eye on any major gaming events happening in early December.”
Major gaming events in December? Is anyone else thinking Keighley’s Trailer Hour?…Or, it’s more recognised name of the VGAs…or, it’s new name of VGX?
It looks like Lara will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One, sooner than you might have first thought.
