Skylanders Wins Game Of 2013 At BAFTA Children’s Awards
Skylanders Giants won big at last nights BAFTA Children’s Awards, picking up the nod for “Game in 2013” It should come as no surprise, considering the immense popularity the game has enjoyed which was further established with the recent release, SWAP Force. This isn’t the first time Skylanders has won either, last year Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure picked up the same award. UK Managing Director of Activision, Roy Stackhouse, had this to say about the win.
We are absolutely delighted to have won once again at the Children’s BAFTAs. Winning an award is always exciting but to receive an accolade of BAFTA’s magnitude and to win it twice is truly special and proves the popularity of the franchise as well as the extraordinary talent of the team who produce it.
