The long-running classic adventure series Broken Sword, will be returning to PC in December. Titled The Serpent’s Curse, the fifth game in the series will be split into two parts, with the first to be released in December, 2013. The second part will be available in January, 2014.
A massive crowdsourced success, raising $815,000 on Kickstarter in 2012, backers will receive this first episode as soon as it’s available, with Mac, Linux, PlayStation Vita, iOS and Android versions will also be released shortly after each episode.
Developed by Revolution Software, The Serpent’s Curse looks to be very much a classic point-and-click adventure, which is sure to make fans very happy indeed. Playing as George Stobbart and Nico Collard, our heroes engage in a globetrotting investigation as a mysterious painting is stolen from a Paris gallery. A mystery filled with intrigue and conspiracy awaits and as you can see from the screenshots below, the artwork is gorgeous.
