SteamWorld Dig Celebration Sale Starts October 17th

Beginning today, and running until Sunday 20th October, SteamWorld Dig will receive a 20% reduction on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

SteamWorld Dig launched on the 3Ds recently and has become the number 1 selling game on Nintendo’s digital platform in North America, Europe and Australia, selling more than Nintendo’s own titles.

The price reduction will mean that the game will cost the following…

UK £7.99 -> £6.39
EU €8.99 -> €7.19
US $8.99 -> $7.19

I reviewed SteamWorld Dig a little while back and while I was a little more harsh on Image and Form’s digging platformer than most, I still enjoyed it. I genuine think that the game is a few ideas short of greatness, but many players (including some here on team GiaG) are bigger fans of Rusty’s spelunking opus.

We’ve also heard that the next SteamWorld Dig title is looking ‘awesome’, but there was no other information than that.
