Rockstar Announce GTA Online Stimulus Package
GTA Online players rejoice! You are about to get paid. Not real money mind you, but you will be half a million richer in GTA$ by the end of the month. Rockstar announced plans today to lodge $500,000 in two installments to every players GTA:O bank account this month, To be eligible for this substantial cash windfall all you have to do is play the online portion of the game at least once in October. That’s it.
The first installment will come as early as next week to some players when they install the forthcoming title update (1.04) which also aims to fix remaining instances of issues that have caused vehicle purchase loss and bugs in the single-player. With all the issues reported in the early days of GTA:O and the subsequent backlash, Rockstar are hoping this gesture will smooth things over with the fans and allow players to make a fresh start.
