Cliff Martinez, who composed the beloved score for cult film ‘Drive’, has admitted that he will be working on a little project called Far Cry 4.
It’s no surprise that a fourth Far Cry is in the works given the third game’s phenomenal success last year – but this is the first we’ve heard someone talk about it.
He made mention of it in an interview with Lost in the Multiplex, but the quote was soon removed. However a quick-witted Redditor by the name of Forestl lifted the quote before it vanished.
In response to a question asking about his future projects Martinez said:Â “There’s a secret mission that I’m not completely on yet, it looks like I’ll also be doing a Soderbergh TV series called The Knick, and I’m working on a video game called Far Cry 4.”
Speaking to Eurogamer at E3 in June, Ubisoft’s Europe boss Alain Corre said of a fourth Far Cry: “We’re thinking of the future of this brand. We don’t know yet when it will emerge. Again, it’s cooking. Something is cooking.”
