Nintendo’s latest handheld revision hasn’t even been out for two weeks yet, but there’s already a price war on the Nintendo 2DS.
Originally reported by MCV, it appears that once again, the supermarkets are the ones firing the first shot. Both Sainsbury’s (in-store) and Tesco (online) are offering the system for £99.99, a full £10 cheaper than it’s original price.
But the best deal (at the time of writing) belongs to Argos, the purveyors of the laminated book of dreams. Once again for £99.99, you can get your hands on a Nintendo 2DS, but they’ll also throw in two original DS games: LEGO Lord of The Rings and Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed. For £114.98 you can get a Nintendo 2DS and the Nintendo DS version of The Smurfs 2 or the 3DS version of Disney’s Planes, while £119.98 will get you the system with FIFA 14.
No doubt there’ll be more deals as Christmas fast approaches.
