Atelier Escha & Logy Heading to Europe Next March

Tecmo Koei have announced that the terrifyingly named Atelier Escha & Logy ~Alchemists of the Dusk Sky~ will be released in the UK, on 7th March 2014 for Playstation 3.

This game is the direct sequel to the not so oddly named Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk.

As appears to be the fashion with JRPGs nowadays – well, it happened in Tales of Xillia – the game will let you choose between two main characters, with your choice offering unique perspectives and views on the game’s narrative.

The characters here seem a bit more different however. The first, Escha, is a more traditional Atelier character that focuses on the alchemy the franchise is famous for. The second character, Logy, follows a more ‘traditional’ JRPG yarn. Burning village to start then, yes?

There’s a bunch of other improvements as well. six characters in battle instead of three, extra abilities, more gorgeous Atelier art, it should offer a solid follow-up and there’s not that long to wait at all!
