State of Decay Shambles Onto Steam Early Access Today
Released earlier this year on Xbox Live Arcade, Undead Labs’ State of Decay was a solid slice of zombie survival that Mick gave a 7/10 to back in June.
The game has had enough of a following to justify a PC version, and Undead Labs have today announced that the game will be available for purchase as part of Steam’s Early Access scheme.
According to a blog post on Undead Lab’s site, the game will be available on Early Access on Friday, 25th September (that’s today). It’ll be available for $20, and is a test version of the game – So expect some bugs and issues. The game is initially only playable with an Xbox 360 (or compatible) controller, with no keyboard and mouse controls available at the moment (although they will be added).
Undead Labs insist that this Early Access version of the game isn’t suitable for the easily frustrated; but for the hardcore, this is a good chance to get your hands on the game and have a part in it’s testing.
