I am seriously excited for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Words cannot express how much I need this game in my life, and I imagine if you’re reading this post then you may well feel the same.
Last week was the Tokyo Game Show, which featured a special demo of Metal Gear Solid 5 running on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Below is a capture of the PlayStation 4 demo, and quite frankly: It’s beautiful:
Just looking at that daylight stealth gameplay has got me all tingly. The FOX Engine is certainly a great bit of tech for the next generation; but remember that the game is still scheduled for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It’ll be interesting to see how the game will be scaled back for those platforms.
