Global Gaming Initiative Launches It’s First Game
The Global Gaming Initiative, a group aiming to bridge the gap between charity and gaming, have launched their first title, Sidekick Cycle on iOS. Developed by Germany’s It Matters Games, the game is a one-touch, downhill biking game featuring 30 tracks, bike customization and player personalisation.
The game is available right now for $0.99 and 50% of the proceeds from sales will be donated to the World Bicycle Relief, a non-profit group that has given over 120,000 locally assembled bikes to students, disaster victims and healthcare workers in Africa since 2005. For every 387 copies of the game sold, GGI will purchase one bicycle for an impoverished child.
