A tweet from Tim Browne, lead designer on Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’s multiplayer, has announced that the game will feature clan support.
According to the tweet Black Flag’s clan elements will include member management and leaderboards, and will include everything within the game rather than relying on external sites or applications.
In terms of how it plays, Black Flag’s multiplayer seems rather similar to those of previous games if you check out our screenshots here, but these additions are nice.
Assassin’s Creed’s multiplayer has always been an asset since its inception, and Assassin’s Creed III did a lot more with co-op gametypes than its predecessors, to the extent that it was more enjoyable in teams than alone, so to see UbiSoft supporting this side of the game with such enhanced features is wonderful.
