More bad news for Microsoft today as it was revealed that Xbox One’s Kinect voice commands will only be available in select territories on launch day. The information, spotted by CVG, is tucked away at the bottom of the Xbox One information page on Xbox.com and lists the UK, US, Canada, France and Germany as the only countries that will enjoy full voice support when the console is finally released.
This comes soon after hearing the console will be delayed in certain regions until 2014. Microsoft originally planned to launch the Xbox One in 21 countries, but reduced that number to 13, citing localisation issues for Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland. Now it seems only 5 of the remaining countries will get to the full Xbox One experience on release day.
