Pokemon Rumble U NFC Figures Hit The UK
With the release of Pokemon Rumble U on the Wii U e-Shop this week, we also have news that the Near Field Communication (NFC) figures that work with the game and the Wii U gamepad have launched at retail in the UK this week.
The figures will come packaged in mini Gachapon balls, styled to look like Pokeballs – and they are sold blind, so gamers will receive a random Pokemon every time they buy one. This will of course lead to players getting doubles, and needing to trade or sell in order to complete their collection.
UK games retailer GAME will also be stocking a limited edition version of the game, which includes a download code for the game itself, a Pokemon Rumble U poster, one figure from the main selection, and also one exclusive limited edition figure – either Black Kyurem or White Kyurem.
These figures are likely to become highly collectible – as we all know how popular the Pokemon franchise is. The rumours that there will also be rare colours and shiny variants will only add to the excitement around trading the figures.
