GTA V’s Music Details Revealed
GTA 5’s soundtrack supervisor, Ivan Pavlovich, has revealed more details about the games soundtrack during an interview with Rolling Stone. According to Pavlovich (via Eurogamer) the game will contain 15 radio stations, two talk radio stations, 240 licensed songs and “somewhere in the proximity of” 20 movies of soundtrack score.
It is the largest soundtrack in a GTA game to date and also features the largest score, which will change dynamically depending on each character and their actions. The game is scored by a number of composers, including Red Dead Redemptions Woody Jackson and German electro group Tangerine Dream, and while each score will reflect a different aspect of the game, certain musical elements will blend together as the player transitions between locations or set pieces.
