A PC version of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V will be available this year according to tech giants Nvidia.
In a earnings call transcribed by Seeking Alpha and reported by Polygon, Nvidia’s senior director of investor relations Chris Evenden listed the game among PC releases set for this coming autumn.
Citing the affect of a changing PC market on gamers he said the demographic is “preparing their systems for a strong roster of games coming this fall, including blockbuster franchises, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto V and Assassin’s Creed IV”.
Nvidia have a long-running relationship with Activision  and are known to working with Ubisoft on the PC version of Assassin’s Creed IV.
GTA 5 arrives on consoles on September 15, Â with no officially announced PC version in the works. On PC 2008’s Grand Theft Auto IV developed a cult of modding that has seen everything from a Hulk mod to mods that allow you to control an elephant.
If Nivida’s comments prove true it means the PC version many expected would be arriving a lot sooner than previously thought.
