Xbox users can now sign-up to participate in Microsoft’s 2013 Xbox Live Update beta for the Xbox 360, according to todays blog post by Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb. The update aims to improve overall performance while also testing transactions in local currencies, due to Microsoft retiring it’s long running points scheme later this year.
Sign-up to beta program will be open to a limited number of gamers and can be accessed directly from the Xbox dashboard. Participants will be asked to conform to a non-disclosure agreement for confidentiality reasons. More details can be found here on Microsoft’s beta FAQ.
