Warcraft Movie Trailer Shown at SDCC
At San Diego Comic Con during the Legendary Pictures panel, a World of Warcraft movie trailer was shown, we’ve learned through IGN.
Titled Warcraft, the brief footage showed a warrior like figure in a desert environment, about to face off against an orc.
Moon and Source Code director Duncan Jones (who is also directing Warcraft) confirmed that filming is due to begin in early 2014.
Can one of the biggest and most expansive video games of all time make the leap to film? With a well told story, of course it can. Fantasy can do really well at the box office, so here’s hoping Warcraft will be worthwhile once it is eventually released.
