Need for Speed: Most Wanted Leads the Charge on PlayStation Plus for August
Keeping with the theme of previous PlayStation Plus updates, the one for late July/early August is a belter.
Replacing Battlefield 3, Catherine, Malicious, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Unit 13 on July 31 are the following: Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Mafia II, Spec Ops: The Line, Lego Lord of the Rings and When Vikings Attack!
This service really does pay for itself. Criterion Games’ NFS: Most Wanted was lauded by many as the best racing game of last year, Spec Ops: The Line had people hooked with its story and Mafia II is a very admirable effort to top off the PS3 round up. Those of you that are Vita owners as well, obviously avail of PS Plus a little bit more with the Lego Lord of the Rings game which encompasses Jackson’s trilogy and the undeniably fun When Vikings Attack!
There’s an understandable amount of trepidation from the PlayStation audience that is worried the service will be slow on PS4 for a bit, but here’s hoping Sony can continue the good service over to the next generation.
