Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails Developer Outlines Story and Gameplay Elements
Nintendo UK interviewed Rhodri Broadbent of developer Dakko Dakko on their upcoming Wii U game Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails.
If you haven’t been keeping up with this one, it might be a reason to dust off your Wii U. Basically, your cat (Scram Kitty) has been kidnapped by a group of evil mice that have overrun a space station that was previously conducting experiments on said mice. You are the “Buddy on Rails” part of the title that is trying to defeat these rodents via your anti-gravity spinboard.
Broadbent cites Gunstar Heroes and Smash TV as two inspirations for the project that should delight fans of retro games. This eShop title sounds like it will use the Game Pad and TV screen in interesting ways which you can hear Broadbent speak about, below.
