Pikmin’s Olimar Returns to the Fight in Smash Bros. Wii U
Nintendo has announced that Pikmin’s Captain Olimar will be returning as a playable character in the forthcoming Super Smash Bros on Wii U.
Along with his trusty Pikmin, Olimar is the first official reveal since the Animal Crossing villager and Mega Man were unveiled at E3 as first time Smashers…oh yeah, and the Wii Fit trainer, too.
Pikmin 3 will be released in Europe on July 26 and in North America on August 4, and even though Olimar will show up in some capacity, three new playable characters take centre stage – Alph, Charlie and Brittany.
Expect a lot more reveals in the coming months from Nintendo as they build up to the game’s 2014 release.
