Eternal Descent: Heavy Metal Heroes is now available on iOS via the App Store.
The game, which is based on Llexi Leon’s comic book series, is an infinite runner where lead character Sirian strikes down enemies with the power of his axe (NB: that’s “rawk” talk for guitar).
With a suffix like “Heavy Metal Heroes” you’d expect some notable cameos and Eternal Descent certainly delivers on that front. Andrew W.K, Wayne Static, Misha Mansoor (Periphery), Michael Amott (Arch Enemy) and the almighty Joe Satriani all pop up to help/hinder you on your quest to rid the world of the awful Pit Lords. More content is scheduled for release up until 2014.
Eternal Descent: Heavy Metal Heroes will cost you little Metalheads £1.99/$2.99/€2.39 and can be played on iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.
How's things? I'm the video guy and would love if you'd watch the things I do like Debatable and For Your Amusement. I spend the majority of my days explaining why The Wire is the greatest TV show ever and clamouring for a Pop-Punk revival(c. 1994) whilst singing in my best Axl Rose-esque voice. Do not say professional wrestling is “fake” around me or, he’ll bore you with, what I like to call, “the risks they take”. Henrik Larsson is my hero.
