Square Enix Confirm Legacy of Kain: Nosgoth is in Development
Nosgoth has been confirmed. Square Enix spoke with VG247 and told them that the Legacy of Kain title is in development, but Tomb Raider studio Crystal Dynamics are not behind the wheel, as was rumoured. However, Square-Enix community manager George Kelion said that it will not be similar to the past games in the series:
“Nosgoth is set in the same universe as previous LoK games, but on a different branch to the Blood Omen and Soul Reaver series. The community should not be thinking of Nosgoth in terms of a single-player experience.”
The game won’t be appearing in any guise at E3, but the publisher was eager to clear up all of the hear say surrounding the game.
What would you like to see from an upcoming Legacy of Kain game? Keep in mind that you “should not” be thinking about single-player. Hmmm…
