Rocksmith 2014 Edition Announced

Ubisoft have announced an update to last year’s Rocksmith, the creatively titled Rocksmith 2014 Edition.

Demoed by Alice in Chains the 2014 edition boasts a new session mode that reacts to your play and lets you alter the instruments that play specific parts of every song.

Just how deep this element of customisation is hasn’t been revealed, but it should hopefully allow us to realise some four part marimba dreams.

Ubisoft promise that the game will still offer plenty of tools for newcomers to the world of guitar playing meaning that it will still function as a learning and practise tool alongside this new element of fun.
