As everyone knows, Nintendo will not be holding a traditional E3 conference, this year. Instead, the company has decided to show new product information through their social network outlets and Nintendo Direct, of course.
In a video posted on their official Facebook page, NOA president Reggie Fils-Aime assures fans that Nintendo are bringing their A-game to this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo – even without all of the bombast of a media briefing.
At 7am PST on June 11, the big E3 Nintendo Direct will be streamed to the general public, then a stream of content will be showing up on their Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts, throughout the day. At 12pm PST, there will be a number of developer interviews, with a Wii U software showcase recap at 1pm PST. At 7pm, a day one wrap up video will air. Fils-Aime makes it clear:
“We’re making Facebook, YouTube and Twitter the places to get all of the Nintendo highlights coming out of E3”
As has been previously reported, a number of Best Buy stores in North America will allow fans to get hands-on time with some of the games that will appear at the event.
