Among the announcements at the E3 2013 Horizon indie game press conference, the show stealer was Fez 2. However, the studio behind Broken Age and Massive Chalice were also dropping some knowledge on the crowd.
Ouya’s Kellee Santiago announced that two new Double Fine projects are currently in development, with monetary support coming from IndieFund.
Santiago, or the studio’s Greg Rice didn’t go into specifics about the games – they just merely announced that they are working on them.
Ever since Double Fine went down the road of smaller teams an multiple projects, they seem to have gained a lot of favour from the general public and with good reason. Titles such as Costume Quest and particularly Stacking are proof that this business model works a treat for the team that made Kickstarter famous in gaming circles.
