This Weeks Nintendo Digital Downloads

This week’s look at what Nintendo is throwing our way features two titles that are sure to put a smile on nostalgic gamers faces, as well as a couple of new games that may well be worth a look.

First up  we have the welcome addition to the 3DS Virtual Console library of two classic Zelda titles, from the Game Boy Colour, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. Long time Zelda fans will remember these titles fondly, as they represented the first time a Zelda game had been produced for a handheld. The two titles share a similar art style to that of the SNES classic A Link to the Past, and explore the same magical land, and each offer unique abilities and some classic Zelda moments. Both games will launch on 3DS at a slightly lower price of £4.49, with the price going up to £5.39 on June 29th, so be quick!

Next up is an all new game for the 3DS eShop THE “DENPA” MEN 2: Beyond the Waves. The Denpa Men are mysterious little creatures that float around radio waves. They all have their own territories. You can’t see them with the naked eye, but you can use your Nintendo 3DS™ to find them and catch them. This one is priced at £8.99.

This week will also see the 3DS land a version of a mobile classic, SpeedX 3D Hyper Edition. Those of you who have been rocking a smart phone for a number of years will probably have come across SpeedX by now. Using motion controls, you race through tunnels at increasingly insane speeds. This one is priced reasonably at £1.99.

Look out for the digital release of Mario & Sonic at the London Olympic Games on 3DS, as well as promotions on Toki Tori 2 and Ghosts and Goblins on Wii U.
