The Need For Speed movie which was confirmed a few months ago has begun filming.
Thanks to a report by news channel 13WMAZ (via Superannuation), we’ve learned that the movie adaptation of the popular video game series starring Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame and Michael Keaton of Batman fame, has kicked off in Macon, Georgia.
The film, which is scheduled for a theatrical release in February of next year, is being directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valor) has a very Fast & Furious vibe to it. A street racer in the locale is sent to prison due to events following him striking up a form of partnership with a rich business associate. Once out of prison, the street racer’s ex-partner places a bounty on the formerly convicted. Then, there’s some form of cross country race.
So, yeah…VERY Fast & Furious, really.
