Supporting Infinity Ward with the development of Call of Duty: Ghosts is Neversoft and Raven. Of course, Raven Software has experience with the series as they have previously worked on DLC for Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3.
This will Neversoft’s first foray into the Call of Duty world after the studio added the CoD logo to their website and claimed they were at work on an FPS. The developer is most famous for the Tony Hawk franchise and Spider-Man on the PSOne. YEAH!
It was confirmed by IW on their Twitter account after the Xbox One announcement:
“Now that our reveal is live, we wanted to give a special thanks to
@RavenSoftware &@Neversoft for their support in developing#CODGhosts”
Call of Duty: Ghosts is still without a release date on next-gen hardware, but will be available on PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U on November 5, worldwide.
