Kevin Conroy Will Be Batman in Arkham Origins & Deathstroke DLC Announced

Kevin Conroy will indeed return as Bruce Wayne, otherwise known as Batman, in Warner Bros Montreal’s Arkham Origins.

The legendary voice actor who has voiced the Dark Knight for over two decades will reprise his role despite reports when the game was announced that a new actor had been found.

During a panel at the Dallas Comic Con Conroy said: “I can talk about it now. We’ve been working for about nine or ten months on the next Arkham game. We all signed contracts so we weren’t allowed to talk about it.

“It’s an unbelievable game,” he continued. “I still can’t say anything about it, and you don’t want me to anyway because it will ruin it for you, but it’s amazing. It’s a huge, huge cast, and a big story. It took almost a year of writing to put it together. They’ve been working on it a long time.”

Origins is the anticipated prequel to Rocksteady’s celebrated games Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.

In other news Warner Bros have announced the game’s pre-order DLC that will allow players to play as Deathstroke, an assassin who will play a pivotal role in the upcoming game.

As great as having different characters to play as was in Arkham City, the whole practise of pre-order incentives is a dark art that needs stamping out. We haven’t even seen footage of the game in action and bonus content has already been announced.
