One thing that appears to coming around on the Wii U is DLC. Fair enough, Nintendo’s console competitors still appear to be getting add-ons in a more timely manner, but at least Wii U owners aren’t left out in the cold, completely.
Brought to our attention by CVG, the Injustice Twitter account recently replied to a concerned fan that was hoping downloadable content would be available to those who bought the superhero fighting game on Nintendo’s latest hardware:
“We expect DLC for the Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us to be available this summer. Stay tuned for more details.”
Earlier this week on Xbox 360 and PS3, Lobo became the first DLC character added to the roster and Batgirl was also confirmed to be coming in the future.
The well received Injustice: Gods Among Us is a must for DC fanboys. Pitting Superman against Batman in a game is like a dream for devoted comic book readers. Hopefully, Wii U owners will get all of the downloadable content that becomes available for NetherRealm’s effort and have the opportunity to get in on all of the fun.
