The Godcast: Season 5 Episode 34

Welcome to the first episode of the Godcast featured on GodisaGeek 3.0. Although…in honesty, that doesn’t actually affect the podcast at all, and we’re still bringing you the same crazy mix of video game chat and attempted humour that we always do.

This week, Mick returns to the pod, so can chat about the games he’s been playing (and reviewing) recently, such as PS Vita exclusive, Soul Sacrifice. He’s rather in love with the game, and Adam can kind of see why. Speaking of love, there’s little in the way of any affection for the latest video game adaptation of Star Trek, as long-time fan Calvin doesn’t like it much, and Adam agrees.

We’ve had a preview build of GRID 2 for a while, and so there’s a little discussion about racing games, and what the podcast quartet enjoy in a racer, before we hit up this week’s topic: Do video game trailers bother you when they contain no gameplay whatsoever? There’s plenty of news this week, too – with Call of Duty: Ghosts being officially announced, and more details coming at Microsoft’s next Xbox reveal, on May 21st.

Aside from just listening on this very page, we’ve made it easy to follow the show on as many devices as possible. You can subscribe via iTunes or Feedburner (for you Android users), or you can even listen to the podcast via Stitcher, the mobile internet radio app that we highly recommend. If you’d prefer a simple old-fashioned MP3 download, you can do so by right clicking here then selecting save file.
